ANGAWI STUDIO

A multidisciplinary creative and an educator of arts and crafts. Being from Mecca, Angawi is inspired by the rich diversity of the culture of Hejaz. His work revolves around the human condition while also paying homage to culture, heritage, and the environment. For Ahmad, his constant pursuit of equilibrium in both design and its application is an attempt to bring balance to the human state of mind.

AROMAT

Hassan Mohammed Albiseesy, a Jeddah-born artisan, transitioned from architecture to wood-turning in 2017, founding Aromat Studio to share his passion. Self-taught and dedicated, he turned his home into a maker space, creating models for design students and mastering the lathe. In 2021, Hassan formalized his business, offering bespoke products and workshops, and has since grown Aromat Studio into a thriving hub for wood-turning enthusiasts.

BREEM

Reem Abdulgani designs ageless, flattering pieces for modern women who are in search of unique and individualized fashion pieces that doesn't compromise neither comfort nor quality. Reem's work is about empowering women through design and teaching them skills they may not have had the opportunity to explore, and she enjoys passing knowledge and skills to others. She shares her embroidery techniques with the local community and especially women.

JUTHOORI

Noor and Leen, Co-Founders behind Juthoori, are self taught macramé artists that started the macramé business brand together. Hailing from Palestinian roots, their journey has been an exploration that weaves together tradition, culture, and a profound love for textile art brands. Juthoori provides its commitment to eco-friendly materials and handmade crafts. Each piece created is a labor of love, providing unique individual pieces, and carefully crafted using sustainable materials, to convey their respect for the environment.

Noha Mukhtar is a Saudi designer, maker and woodturner. Her passion for art making, especially wood-turning is a driving force for her work. She is wood-turning pieces that are driven from historical elements as Mashrabiya to appreciate the Arabic and Islamic culture and heritage.

MANSAJ

Huda Labib, a Jeddah-based designer graduate in design and textiles. She is the founder of Mansaj Studio. Specializing in handmade textiles, her workshops cover techniques such as tufting gun, latch hook, and punch needle. 

Marwa Turkistani, a ceramic artist from Jeddah, honed her skills in traditional pottery arts in the city. Passionate about preserving traditional crafts and heritage, she founded the Marwa Turkistani Studio to teach and revive the art of ceramics.

LORA

Hashem Ibrahim Al-Shawi, a Jeddah-based business development expert, Accredited in handmade soap making by the Soap School in Manchester in 2019. Inspired by Jeddah's history, his products showcase authentic craftsmanship with traditional making methods by using local ingredients like oils and herbs from Al-Attarine Souk.

Hana Saggaf, a self-taught Saudi watercolorist from Jeddah, draws inspiration from heritage and traditional arts. Her work highlights traditional buildings and elements, aiming to raise awareness of their artistic importance.

TSABEEH

Nadia Fadhul, an art education teacher, shaped the elementary art curriculum and is recognized for creatively designing modern beads that showcase aesthetic values in Saudi heritage, using high-quality materials to preserve artistic value.

AYNUL ALFANN

Led by Dr. Ahmed Al-Khudairy, calligraphy teacher in the Haram, Makkah Almukarama, the group includes calligraphers Majed Mawlali, Ayoub Abdulhamid, Ayoub Al-Maidani, Rayan Abdulaziz,and Abdulrahman Sultan. They creatively blend Arabic calligraphy with various materials, they draw inspiration from Historic Jeddah and its arts.

LAGOM

Marwa, Noor, and Nabila are three artists from Jeddah who started exploring their talents at a young age. They share a love for art and plants, combining both to create unique pieces. Their work is inspired by nature and their culture. They hope to see art and plants in every space.

MISHT STUDIO

Founded by Zainab and Basma Misht, in Jeddah, specializes in diverse design prints, including limited editions, postcards, decorations, brochures, and textiles, exploring materials through precise experimentation.

Ricardo Andrés Hinogosa is a Mexican artist, who is a professional digitizer and makes forms and motifs from paper inspired by nature and Islamic motifs, and calls himself (Kami Kyoudai) meaning friend of paper in Japanese.

Shorsh Saleh is British-Kurdish artist, painter, and carpet maker, Sale seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistry. His creations, intertwined with modern imagery, drawing inspiration from symbolic motifs in traditional carpets. Saleh earned his Master's from the King' School of Traditional Arts in London .

Abdulvahid Bukhoriy, an artisan from Bukhara, Uzbekistan, is dedicated to preserving cultural heritage through ceramic art. A graduate of the R. Khamraev School of Arts and Music, he trained under Honored Master Foil Mirzaev and revived the historic 'Blue ceramics of Bukhara' and Samanid-era traditions, known for their intricate designs and benevolent inscriptions.

Ammar Jiman is an artist and art educator specializing in traditional arts and architecture. Born in Jeddah and raised in Manchester, UK, he graduated from Jameel House of Traditional Arts. Ammar has worked as a teaching assistant at The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts in AlUla and now runs a studio in Zawiya 97, Al-Balad, where he offers workshops like "Making Colours from Nature" and "Mangour Geometry Classes.

Ayman Al-Mahawi and Nada Shawli inspired by their love for historic Jeddah and its traditional arts, studied at the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, They completed a two-year diploma in traditional building, focusing on reviving and preserving heritage crafts. they spend time teaching younger generation building craftsmenship founding, as well as producing and practicing their crafts. 

Ayat Dahi is an artist, designer, and jewelry maker with a Bachelor's in Islamic Arts and a Master’s in Jewelry and Metals. After earning a diploma in traditional arts, she opened her workshop in Al-Balad in 2020, focusing on silver and copper craftsmanship. Passionate about exploring various art forms, Ayat also enjoys drawing, ceramics, and experimenting with new crafts to see art from fresh perspectives.
